Early Registration for NYS College Application Month is Now Open!

New York State Higher Education Services Corporation (HESC) is excited to kick off 2025 College Application Month's (CAM) early registration. College Application Month, held each year throughout October, aims to encourage and support high school seniors as they take the important step of applying to college.

Last year, nearly 750 high schools across New York joined the CAM Initiative, with multiple high schools achieving 100% senior student participation in submitting at least one college application. Additionally, 140 colleges and universities across NY joined the initiative by waiving college application fees.

This year, we’re building on that momentum—with an even broader reach, expanded counselor and student events, and a refreshed CAM Resource Toolkit set to launch this fall.

Schools that register before June 30, 2025, will receive priority access to a limited supply of CAM promotional items you can use in your schools to help promote and encourage students to apply to college.
