College Application Initiative (CAI) is part of the American College Application Campaign nationwide effort to bridge the gap between high school graduation and postsecondary education. The primary goal of New York State CAI is to increase the number of students applying to colleges and universities.

By equipping students with the necessary tools and guidance, we aim to ensure that every New York State student has an equal opportunity to pursue higher education and unlock their full potential.

2026 CAI Early Registration is Now Open for HS Counselors!

Attention Counselors! We need your partnership to reach more students than ever before. Sign up to participate in the 2026 College Application Initiative. Schools that register by June 30, 2026 will receive priority access to a limited supply of promotional items to help encourage students to apply to college during the initiative.
