New York State Loan Forgiveness Programs

Have part of your loans repaid by NYS.

The New York State Higher Education Services Corporation currently administers a number of student loan repayment programs. Student loan repayment programs allow an individual to be reimbursed for all or part of their student loan expenses in exchange for performing a qualifying service for a defined period of time. You may owe taxes on the amount NYS has reimbursed you for your loans or repaid to your loan servicer on your behalf in cases where the amount is considered income.
