2024-25 Academic Year Closeout – SECOND REMINDER
HESC is in the final phase of closing out the 2024-25 academic year. Schools are urged to take the necessary steps to complete outstanding award certifications and reconcile any certification errors before the deadlines listed below.
Key Deadlines
- March 25, 2026 – Final 2024-25 Payment Roster issued.
- May 27, 2026 – Final day to submit all 2024-5 certifications, including certification errors.
- June 2026 – HESC closeout processing begins, including the release of the final Student Status List, Remittance Advice, and Excelsior/ETA Manifest (specific dates will be posted in the June TAP Processing Schedule).
Certification & Reconciliation Requirements
Per HESC’s policies and procedures, schools must certify awards within:
- 60 days from the date a roster was issued, or
- 30 days from the end of the term - whichever is later.
Any certifications that remain pending or in error status after the closeout deadline will be decertified.
To ensure student accounts reflect accurate payment amounts, schools should review:
- The QGP011-Comprehensive Payment Status Report (available in customized reports)
- The latest 2024-25 Student Status List (available via Web File Transfer)
