HESC is extending the 2024-25 closeout deadline after identifying a small number of 2024-25 academic year awards that require roster placement. An additional 2024-25 roster will be released on the evening of June 10, 2026.
Due to the low number of awards that will be released on this roster, not every school will receive a 2024-25 roster on June 10th.
Schools should check HESCweb and/or Web File Transfer on the morning of June 11th to verify if they received the roster.
Per HESC regulations, schools will have 60 calendar days to complete certification of any students on this roster. Any 2024-25 certifications that remain pending or in error status, including those issued on the June 10 roster, will be decertified by HESC after the closeout deadline. Below are revised 2024-25 key closeout deadlines for schools:
- June 10, 2026 – Final 2024-25 Payment Roster issued (evening).
- August 12, 2026 – Final day to submit all 2024-25 certification transactions, including awards reported on the final roster. Transactions must be submitted by close of business.
- August 17, 2026 – HESC closeout processing begins; including the release of the final Student Status List, Remittance Advice, and Excelsior/ETA Manifest (specific dates will be posted in the June TAP Processing Schedule).
