FAFSA Ready Training Program

The FAFSA Ready Training program is designed to equip counselors, educators, and support professionals with the resources, tools, and expertise they need to help NYS students navigate the financial aid process.

New York State students left over $200 million in federal financial aid unclaimed by not completing the FAFSA. The NYS FAFSA Ready Training Program, along with Governor Hochul's Universal FAFSA Completion Legislation, aims to close this gap and help students access the financial aid they need for higher education.

How to Use the FAFSA Ready Training Platform

Choose Your Modules: Browse the available modules and select the topics you’re most interested in. Each module is designed to provide specific insights and guidance on FAFSA, TAP, and NYS DREAM Act applications.

Access On-Demand Content: View pre-recorded seminars and download accompanying PowerPoints at your convenience. These resources are available anytime so you can revisit them whenever needed.
