Serving as HESC President since 2017, Dr. Linares oversees the administration of $800 million in financial aid to over 300,000 students, expanding access to education across New York State. A pioneering advocate for education, he was the first Dominican-born member elected to the NYC Council and served as Chair of the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanic Americans.
